About the Event

Our Bad-Ass, Groundbreaking, Leading Women Speaker Series is Back for Spring Quarter! 

2015 Central Washington University graduate, Calista Hill, was born and raised in a small town in Kodiak, Alaska. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary education, and minored in Dance and American Sign Language (ASL). After graduation, Calista returned to Kodiak to follow her passion in Special Education. She is currently starting her 8th year as a special education teacher. She will discuss what teaching has been like for her pre and post-pandemic, and also offer advice to students who are considering following a similar career path as hers or for those who want advice on successfully navigating an undergraduate degree leading to their dream career.
