No matter the cause you are working toward, it is universally known that those who are most affected should be contributing to the conversation regarding solutions, yet these stakeholders can be some of the most difficult to reach due to barriers already in place. Due to the global pandemic, creating innovative methods in reaching underrepresented groups is crucial but sometimes hard to navigate. Dr. Mendoza and Dr. Gunnels will discuss their work as leaders in undergraduate research and how they have effectively overcome barriers in reaching the most critical of stakeholders.
